As my second Covid-19 pandemic project, still seeking to leverage only scrap wood in my shop, I created drawers to mount to the stand of my drill press. using a combination of Birch plywood scraps and poplar for the drawer fronts, these drawers help organize everything drill related. I can store my cases of drill bits, my hole saws, my forstner bits, and my larger quick bore bits all in one place. The drawers feature my favorite full extension heavy duty drawer slides by Shop Fox. I’ve used these on numerous projects and have been happy with their quality and strength.
